She is Simona,
an humble sweet girl from Italy living in London.
We’ve been shooting together after the second worst day of my life , which means that it hasn’t been easy for me, to be in the moment in the right mood ,behind my camera trying to do my own work, but she helped. I’ve been lucky to being completely understood by her about what I was feeling and I was living during that days and this has been so important to me that otherwise I wouldn’t be able to do what I did.
I say this because to me being behind the camera should never means being just a professional who’s there to do his own job, commissioned or not.. being there means to get the chance to meet new souls fall in to each other share lives feeling and thoughts, communicate and only if I feel free to do this, I feel happy to be there even in a bad time or in the worst one, like it happened with Simona.
People today don’t enjoy the experience but they just look for the final results. But I think that it can be breathtaking if the journey till there would be well lived.
Thank you Simona.
Shot in Apulia, Italy.
